Postpartum bowel movement - C Section

My first c section it took me 4 days to go, but I was having terrible tummy pains and so scared to push. Ended up with suppositories to help things along. They were a blessing! Then started taking a liquid stool softener to help things along for the next few weeks. I hope you are able to go soon and feel better! Xx

10 days. Take the lactulose or anything they give you. I didn’t and I was fighting for my life 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ honestly awful x

Think it was over a week. Did take a little while. I just took lactoluse religiously so that when it came it didn’t hurt and I didn’t have to strain

With my first (a C-section) it took about a week but I was so blocked up it was horrible. I wish I’d taken laxatives. I’d take some to make it easier - it’s not fun if not aha ❤️

I went on morning of day 3 but took a senna stool softener on evening of day 2 xx

Stop taking codeine if you are taking it for pain relief, (if you can) that’s what was stopping me from going post c section I just took the other pain meds now I’m regular xx
