I was in for 4 days but my little one was in special care unit and I unfortunately had sepsis so think I was in there longer than most

I was discharged at the 24 hours mark and that was only because they recommend you stay that long! Xx

I was in 3 nights 4 days but I had some complications. I do believe if you can pass urine etc you can go the next day.

Went in at 7am, C section at 12pm, went home about 1030am the next day. ✨

5 days

I was discharged 26 hours after having my c section. I was ready to go home though hospital sucked for recovering.

24 hours

7 days on my first little girl and 2 nights on my second little girl! First time was due to jaundice and needing phototherapy x x

4 days as my blood pressure kept crashing... I already have a heart condition so it was expected

Had an “emergency” due to waters breaking and labour not progressing for over 48hr - had my section at 10pm and was out by 2pm the next day xx

About 36 hours

I went home the next evening

2 days and asked to stay and extra day as my little one was in NICU. I would say leave when you’re able to move around and ask for as much help as you possible! I.e breastfeeding, pumping, etc..

2 nights x

I was in for 3 nights after emergency c section. I didn't mind as I got help with my weeping scar when I needed it, pain relief and also took advantage of the bed controls to pull myself up. I was also in hospital when the baby blues hit hard in the night and got help It was nice to be home, but appreciated being in hospital. It gave my husband a couple of nights rest before baby was home, so we were both in a good place xx

I was in for around 24 hours as that’s what they recommended x

4 nights due to being constipated and so needed monitoring for bowel obstruction risk. But was all clear and given lactulose and suppository and discharged home on day 5. Everything else was fine with baby otherwise.

Went into hospital at 7am Friday morning, in surgery for 8.50am then in the car on the way home by 2pm Saturday. It was only that late because they were so short staffed trying to get everyone sorted to be discharged

5 days, baby and I both had infections

Like 2 days. Use to be a week back around 2013. But now it is usually 2 days

2 nights

24 hours x

I had my baby at 5pm and left the hospital around 3:30pm the next day

My little one was born just gone midnight on a Monday and I had to stay in 24 hours after but because of the timing of his birth meant I seen a doctor about 8am on the Tuesday morning and they started the discharge process

I was just shy of 2days after my section with my daughter x

I had my daughter on the Friday and was home by 4pm the Saturday xx

3 days after my c-section with my first. 24 hours with my second because I asked to go home early

Had my c section the night of the 3rd and I was home by the afternoon of the 5th! I was up and walking around holding my son hours after my emergency c section tho! Cause my body felt like that was the right move, but everyone is different Edit; did not see this was uk specific my b for even being here ahahahahhaah

3 days (2 nights). I kind of needed longer but I wanted my bed. I wish I'd stayed longer in hine sight. I cried the entire way home because I was in agony.

I went home the next day ❤️

5 days

Emergency- 24 hours

4 days as my son was under NICU care and needed treatment for sepsis and jaundice

Next evening

24hrs with planned section

Two nights after an elective caesarean

@Shannon oh my goodness bless. Was there any signs of this prior to delivery? Xxx

5 days. I had a super bad uterine infection that required 2 IV antibiotics for 3 days and 10 days of oral antibiotics at home.

@EJ if there was they didn’t say anything. It was a cat 1 emergency section. My waters went at 6pm on Saturday, he wasn’t born till 1pm Monday, I think they treated him for sepsis as a precaution. He needed resuscitating once born. If it wasn’t for his treatment I would have been home after 2 days.

I’ve spent 2 nights in hospital. They wanted to discharge me after 1 day but I was too weak to even get out of bed so I said I wanted to stay one more night

3days x

A week
