Induction

I just had mine with pitocin. They got me up to 10 and shit hit the fan and they had to taper me back down so I'd say stay at 6 or 8 as long as you can with pitocin. The end of my labor was really painful and I got ignored so it was honestly my worst birth experience. This is my 3rd baby, 2nd via induction

Get the epidural before the pitocin lol

That pitocin can kiss my ass , That’s all I got for you sorry 🤣. My doctor is trying to get me scheduled for an induction and immediately said pitocin may be involved based on what I go in at (dilation). I kindly declined. I’m currently 39 weeks and I plan to go as natural as possible

So, I've never been induced with it myself. BUT I have experienced it AFTER birth for the after birth pains. That crap made those pains feel SO MUCH WORSE and I felt like I was dealing with labor all over again. Worst decision I ever made personally, and heck, mine was AFTER my baby was born. So, if you do it, I'm definitely agreeing with Kirstie, get an epidural first. I've never even had one of those and I would be grabbing for one fast if I had pitocin in my body ever again (which i wont) I'm about to have my 6th this next week. My first 2 were hospital births and my last 3 and this 1 have/will be home births. No epidurals. I have always gone into labor without induction. And I definitely recommend that more over pitocin anyday, and even recommend not using it after birth lol if you ask me. But, if your gonna be on pitocin, DEFINITELY go epidural first.

Personally I’ve done it without and with and I will never do it again! My almost one weeker was induced last Friday everything started out fine got my epidural at about 5cm (I started at 3cm) well I barely moved any the next day I couldn’t take the pain anymore they had my pit at 22 and told them to turn it off and they said well we don’t like turning it off and on would I be okay with a c section and i quickly said yes cause even with the epidural I felt everything. I ended up having a c section with a spinal blocker and the after was only bad the first 3 days but I was up walking within 12 hours.
