Help - bush or no bush?!

I’m due in 3 weeks and it looks like a jungle down there. It’s a bit embarrassing but I’m not sure I can be bothered to do anything about it. Is anyone just leaving it? Would it be ok with stiches etc if it’s hairy? X

With my first I left it as he came 5 weeks early so was unexpected🤣 with this one I’ve just trimmed down there incase I need stitches, as I read somewhere it can cause infection if you shave too soon before giving birth🙈

My little one came 3 weeks early and I had an unplanned csection, I remember laying down on the table and one of the nurses in the room saying ‘I’m just going to trim the incision area’ and then hearing the buzzer turn on and it was only at that moment that it dawned on me how badly I’d left it 😂😂. Then again when you’re laying flaps to the wind and just about/have met your baby you find you really just don’t care 😂xx

I’ve booked a full wax for a week before my due date 😂 think it’ll be easier if it’s all smooth while recovering. Last week I used hair removal cream for first time. It’s ok but a bit patchy so I had to use a mirror and razor to finish it anyway

@Zoe o this made me laugh 😂😂 flaps to the wind brilliant

With my first I was in early labour for 4 days so couldn't and it really irritated my stitches so this time I am going to try or ask my partner to help 🤣🙈

The midwives and doctors really don’t care! I had stitches with my first and had no issues with hair. They’ve always seen worse, no matter how bad you think you look down there! 😂

My c section notes say to just trim down there and it says don’t shave for 2 weeks beforehand

Thanks all!

@Claire that’s good to know! Will have a trim this week.

I have a cesarean booked and I’ve booked a wax for 2 weeks before (not meant to wax or shave less than 1 week before)
