Weird timing that i’ve just seen this now as i’m literally about to go to the out of hours to get checked over. Since leaving the hospital (already had an infection but they discharged me saying it would go with oral antibiotics) I’ve been infected everyday since. Now nearly 6w pp and it’s still awful! I’m now getting abdominal pain too and it feels like i’m back to the first week pain wise!I’ve had various antibiotics and none are working it’s just ridiculous. So I’d just say yes definitely go back but if you feel like somethings wrong or it isn’t getting better put your foot down and just tell them exactly how you feel! I need to do the same because it just seems to not get any better. In terms of triage try it but when I called mine they said they were too busy and didn’t want to see me! wishing you the best 🫶🏻

Thank you! I called triage and they told me I needed to go my gp! They've prescribed me more antibiotics and an anti fungal cream. Fingers crossed they work. It's such a faff and the only pain I have is where the wound is opening! Hope it went okay for you @Caitlin

Give that chance to work but if in doubt go back! the doctor was shocked about it all and i’ve been admitted to a ward for IV antibiotics
