Mamia nappies

Is anyone having issues with the Aldi mamia nappies? We're using size 1 and not every time but enough times, my LB is leaking urine to the back right hand side of his nappy through his clothes 😭 it's a pain because I have to change his vest and sleep suit / sleep bag each time when the nappy isn't particularly full, I might move him over to size 2 mamia nappies or another brand if anyone has recommendations after having this issue? LB is 3 weeks old today and weighs 8lb 12oz

Had the same issue with the mamia so used size 1 pampers and no issue with those other than they’re more expensive! Also, snap on baby birthday 🎂 my LG 3 weeks today 🥰

I never had no.1s and started with no 2 from Aldi and had no issues. Baby was 8lbs 12 at birth. I’ve noticed Pampers seem to fit bigger so 2 still fits her but I’ve moved onto Aldi no 3 now The size guide on the pack shows the nappies actually have a cross over on the baby weights. So I’d deffo just bump them up to number 2. Aldi are such good value!

@Liv aww birthday snap! I do have some number 1 pampers I'll give them a go!

@Elle Ahhh ok I do have some Size 2 Aldi nappies I'll try them today I wasnt sure if they'd be too big for him but he's the same weight now as your baby was so will swap him over! Agreed, such good value🥰

I heard so many good things about these nappies so bought loads! I hate them!! size 1 leaked all the time, moved on to size 2 and found them small compared to other brands! Also find them really rough!! We started using Asda nappies and found them good x

I use asdas little angels and there amazing never had any issues and 75p a pack

we’re having similar issues with mamia, in size 2 now and still the same. thinking of changing brands

@Eryn same I heard all good reviews on them so we stocked up so many before baby was born, what a shame!! Aw thank you, I'll give the size 2s a go then try Asda if still the same x

@evelyn oh nice I'll have to give them a go, are the sizings similar to the Aldi ones?

We heard loads of good things about those… We hate them!! We now use the sainsbury’s one and haven’t had any leaks! xx

I had the same problem so moved to size 2 when he was about 7lb 8oz and it did the trick. I also secure them a bit tighter than I originally did. Now when I use some of the size 1 that I have left he doesn’t leak as I’m doing them tighter. I also ensure I’m changing him super often as he seems to be constantly weeing!x

@Kirsty I’m not sure sorry my baby’s only ever had little angels xx

Aldi size 2 are pampers size 1. We had the same and found this out size 2 have been great for us since x

We had the same issue! Moved up to a size 2 from aldi and haven't had a leak yet!

We had this with the first size so we upped to the 2nd size and no leaks since

Pampers more expensive but I use less of them and no nappy rash, last them through 2 feeds overnight xx

I used Asdas own could genuinely say nothing bad about them x

Aldi nappies run small. If you check the weight on Aldi nappies compared to pampers you will be able to see they are smaller. We used size 2 from like 2 weeks old.

@Sarah ah yea I didn't realise til this post! We moved him to size 2 last night and had no leaks so far so fingers crossed it's sorted ☺️
