Scared of giving birth ?

I’m literally so so scared of a second C-section 😭 first time around I was induced and it was very difficult labour around 30 hours of induction and ended up in emergency C-section. I m not opting for natural labour this time because of the trauma from the last time. At the same time I’m scared of C-section birth also. 😖 it’s so difficult.

Why are you scared of the second c-section? I had a similar experience, was induced and in labor for 36 hours before getting a c-section. I also opted to have another c-section to avoid going through that again

@Kassidi it’s the thought of another cut from the same scar 😒 I can’t stop thinking about it.

I know how you feel, the thought freaked me out too. It helped me to know they cut at that spot because it has the lowest risk of uterine rupture. Have you brought up your concerns to your OB/midwife?

@Kassidi yea she did kindly explained to me. I’m just making my mind n keeping myself ready. I guess the fear from last birth is scaring me. I’m hoping a planned C-section will go smoother. Xx

I had a very similar situation my first birth (long induction, ending in c section). I had a really rough recovery, so I’m hoping for a VBAC this time. Planned C or VBAC, whatever you choose is 100% the right choice. For me, I am still nervous about ending up in c section but I hired a doula this time to help me and that’s given me more confidence.
