Bleeding
Hi, just want to see if anyone’s had similar since having their baby :)
So I had my baby on the 13th September. My postpartum bleeding completely stopped after around a week and a half. Last night I randomly had a bit of brown blood on my pants.. I put a pad on and didn’t think anything of it until this morning. I woke up to a bit of bright red blood and when I wipe down there after peeing. As the morning has gone on, I have used a pad already and had to change. My baby is 4 weeks and 4 days old - is it possible this is my period?
Some websites say it could be the last of the PP bleeding and some say if it’s bright red then it’ll be period 🤦🏼♀️
I’ve got an appointment with the nurse on Friday to discuss continuing my pill anyway so I will ask but just curious to see if this is common to get the first period so soon! :) thanks guys

Same over here, had baby 11th Sept, PP bled for maybe 2 weeks if that, 4 days ago had bright red and heavy, I've assumed it my period because I'm not breastfeeding but was very surprised its come so quick!
@Lauren I have assumed too as not breastfeeding either. Has your p lasted those full 4 days? Mine feels heavier than before pregnancy, just hope it’s because it’s the first one! They were always light/medium and only lasted 3/4 days max 🤞
Yeah 5 full days in total, it appears to have stopped today though 👏 hopefully they get lighter, that was mad 🤣

If it’s fresh blood it does sound like a period. I had mine on 17th sept and haven’t had a period yet and only just stopped bleeding so not sure
