The Gbs swab shouldn’t hurt. But a membrane sweep can be uncomfortable and can hurt for some. After I got my membrane sweep I cramped right after and it never went away and I ended up having her 6 hours later for my first baby

The doctor should have asked you if you want the sweep before doing it as it does induce labor
I was past 40 weeks. Which is why we did the membrane sweep at that point. Yeah I’m not sure why they would have done a membrane sweep this early. I’m 36 weeks now and wouldn’t want one until at least 39 weeks.
LMAO girl don’t tell me that imma ask for one at my 36 week appointment or maybe 37 weeks lol to be safe 😆😆😆

Ah okay they did the same thing for me, it sounds like they did your gbs swab and asked cervical check
Cervical checks can cause cramping, make sure you're drinking plenty of water

If it was a cervical check, they still should have asked you if you wanted that done. Because you don’t need to have that done yet either if you didn’t ask.

GBS swab should just be on the outer area of the lady parts not Inside at all sooooo I would assume Noooo
Are you sure they actually used their fingers and did a sweep? Not just the swab and a cervix check? Normally they will start check around 36w if you want but sweeps don’t normally start until 38w
Membrane sweep, yes she/he scraped the amniotic sac off the wall to try to induce labor naturally some women go into labor minutes/ hours / days after.
