It’s funny this has come up cause today I was told my the doctor if baby doesn’t turn they’ll try an ECV but isn’t recommending me for a VBAC. Is a c-section something you wanted? Only reason I ask cause I feel that there should be time given even after 36 weeks to see if baby can turn and not automatically opt women for a c-section x
I’m booked in for 28th October (39w 1d) for a section. Babies not breach but I had a section last time and have a lot of anxiety.
@Divine the only other option was trying to give birth naturally whilst baby is in the breach position. I have a heart shaped uterus so I don’t think there is enough room for her to turn at this stage. I do have to go for another scan in 2 weeks to make sure she is still breach x
@Jo this makes sense! This is such good knowledge to have .. in terms of knowing the shape of your uterus.. I wish I knew x
@Emily I had a c-section previous and because of my current state I think another section would do me more than good but I’m not putting too much pressure on myself.. I believe whatever is ment to me will be 🙏🏾

I’m booked for mid November which will be 37 weeks due to placenta being low and ‘blocking the exit’ they say it would be too dangerous to go into labour naturally.
@Megan I'm booked next Tuesday... It only has a 50% success rate and apparently isn't the most comfortable procedure....

I’m booked for November 6th- declined the ECV as low stats, they could always turn back anyway, could distress the baby etc etc!

@Jo it's where they manually turn the baby externally.

I'm booked in for a c section but just know it's week 39. Told they will call me a few days before with a date. Interesting to see so many other trusts give dates earlier.
