@Jody I have mentioned it to health visitor already, just wondering if others are experiencing similar
My little one is 6 weeks old now but when she was around 3 weeks old she was going every 2 days and only going once now it’s changed again to once a day my health visitor told me to contact someone after 3 days but most of the time they advise after 5 days, she also suggested cooled boiled water to help with constipation just don’t give them loads as there little bellies get full quickly and they may not have their milk if they’re full on water x
Is she passing gas otherwise? I’m on kendamil organic and she’s 2 weeks old tomorrow and so far it’s pretty consistent but she has had fewer and fewer poops so like one a day vs 5 a day
My LO goes 3/4/5 days without pooing, we originally had him on cow and gate and the midwife told us to change his milk so we did.. however no change to his poos. We were concerned so we took him to docs and turns out he just has immature bowels and it’s actually really normal to happen to babies and they grow out of it and eventually learn how to push without tensing all of their stomach muscles at once. He strains a lot and grunts so we got told he’s got infant dyschezia x
@Ellesea that’s helpful thanks!
My 18 day old little girl sometimes struggles to go for A poo. I do bicycle movements and belly massages daily just to help her go. I have health visitor coming out next week so going to mention it to her. Xx
@Kristina ohh nice , hope she starts pooping soon
I don’t think u should wait that long without seeing someone about it
