I literally only wore stockings in the hospital when they put them on me. They gave me some to bring home but I didn’t wear them. The health visitor asked me if I was wearing them when she came to visit, I said no and she said no one does 🤣

I only wore them in the hospital and on my first day home, but my feet did swell up quite a bit after 😭 but they went down after a couple of weeks

I was told just to wear the ones I already had on the first time I walked a bit. So wore them till I got home and then they came off. I did have really swollen ankles and feet afterwards though but then I was constantly up and down doing what I could

I only wore them in hospital and for 2 days after. Because I was up on my feet and walking, it was okay. I think it's just if you're still on bedrest x

I wore them in the hospital but never got told to wear it at home but either way, I was fine without the stockings!

I didn’t have injections but I had the stockings for 10 days. Tbh, wearing them under your jeans or trousers isn’t bad at all. I just found it more annoying taking them on and off to shower as they were tight. They are great though, I had zero pp swelling but they aren’t the prettiest things. Did they give you spares?

i didn’t have spares no just the 1 pair i mean i’ve had them on for a week now, but i said to my partner they dig into my legs at the top anyway which just makes them uncomfy

I never even wore them in the hospital (my care was handled horribly) you will be fine though xx

I never received any🙃, after and during my time in hospital😂😂x

Had 2 electives and both times had six weeks of blood thinners but didn’t have to wear the stockings beyond the time the catheter came out and I was up and walking. Had showers both evenings never put them back on. Had no swelling in my feet or legs any point but that could be down to being up and active quickly. No hard and fast rule it seems!

I was never even given stockings after my c section, just the injections haha

I didn’t wear them all time 😄. They got on my nerves and I was okay

I only had the stockings on for a few hours after then they actually took them off me. I never got given anymore either 😕 I did swell up quite abit so that might be why 🙈

Stick your feet up and do ankle circles if you’re swollen I wouldn’t worry about it apart from that

Wasn't given stockings to go home with just told to keep feet up and do injections for 40 days x

I put them on for an hour or so each day and my feet went down after a few days 💗

I only wore them for 3 days, as soon as I was home I took them off, I didn't have any swelling at all... I was on injections for 6 weeks after my section

My midwife came round on day 5 and told me to take them off as I was moving around and taking the injections 🙂

My midwife told me as long as I was up and moving around I didn’t need to wear them

I was never given any and it wasn’t mentioned…

Took the stockings off the minute I walked through the front door 😂😂
