Elective Induction: Scheduled Yet?
I’m planning to get an induction, but my OB said it’s still too early to schedule it, even though I’ll be 39 weeks in just 10 weeks. For those of you choosing to have an elective induction, have you already scheduled yours? I feel like it would be helpful to have the date in hand. Mine would be the last full week of December.

I think it depends on your doctor/doctors office. With my first son, I had to wait until the day of my due date. With my last pregnancy, I didn’t get a date until the week before my due date.
My dr said 38 weeks we can start looking to schedule, I think that's normal
10 weeks still a long time, and you could go into labor before then. Mine won’t even discuss it till im muchhh farther along.
I scheduled my induction with my first at my 36 week appt. They definitely won't plan it before then

It's probably too early to schedule bc of doctors and staff schedules plus the holidays. My guess.
