Being induced
Been told they’ll be using the Dilapan rods method.
Does anyone have any positive stories/ how long it usually takes to get things moving etc?

I had two rounds of Dilapan which are in for 12-15 hours per set then the gel. Started the induction Wednesday afternoon baby was here Thursday evening
@Charlotte that’s all I got told by my midwife that’s what they’ll be using x
Try and ask for alternatives if you can and you aren’t happy with this option. My hospital did prostaglandin gel first, a few sweeps and then we moved to 3ml of oxytocin drip across 24-36 hrs. There must be more options for you xx
