Cancelling induction

Does anybody know if i can cancelling my induction. The only reason its been booked is because of my mental health, but I’m actually worried about me induced and scared of it turning to a c section

Yes you absolutely don't have to be induced! Your body your choice X

Yes!!! Cancel if you do not want to do it! You do not have to go through with it x

Thank you girls, it was initally recommended and they said my choice and i agreed, but Ive changed my mind and think i can soldier through this pregnancy and my mental health till baby is ready xx

Good for you. You’ve got this ♥️ baby will come when they’re ready and hopefully you will have a wonderful birth. Here if you need a chat too xx

I was told today if I didn’t want it on the day I can go in and cancel it there and then - presumably it must be quite flexible in this sense

I am so sure I don’t want an induction, so a midwife I was speaking to told me to book an induction when my usual midwife asks, but just call the day before and say you’ve changed your mind! You absolutely don’t have to go through with it if you have one booked! Do what’s best for you❤️

You can change your mind about any part of your care at any stage - never be afraid to say no or cancel if something doesn't feel right 🩷

Yes good for you you’ve got this momma ❤️ trust in yourself and your body xx

I’ve been in hospital since Thursday and I’m now opting out of it. My personal opinion / experience - I wish I never had it done. I’m now going to have a c-section instead as my body just can’t take the process anymore 😩

@Bianca-Jasmine it's harrowing isn't it, I couldn't do it a second time

@Georgie I’ve had the worst time ever. I know everyone’s experience is different but honestly… I’m just so fed up now🤣

I didn’t need the induction after all. My baby decided to come the day before!
