Braxton

I went into triage for lack of movement (I'm 35+6) and on the heart beat thing they could see that I was having braxtons and said they could see it was getting closer together and more frequent and if they ever got painful I've gotta come in. Does this mean I'm close to labour?? Or is this just something they would bring up anyway?

I had this exact same thing on Friday, they kept coming all day but didn’t get painful for me, I’m 35 weeks today and no labour yet thankfully x

I'm 35+2 and had braxtons all day Saturday. Called the trigage and was told not to worry unless it became painful. It is definitely uncomfortable!

Mine have been frequent and painful but mainly at night, currently 34 weeks. From previous experience it's all preparation from the real thing. Unless they become really frequent and do not stop then there's nothing to worry about. It didn't mean anything for my boys, one born 40+1 and the other 40+6. Both straight forward births though

No, not really. I had extremely strong, v close together, regular braxton hicks for weeks and weeks with both my first and this time

I’m 34+3 and had 2 really painful contractions over the weekend. It’s my second pregnancy so I know what to expect and they stopped me walking/ talking. Nothing else happened so I just carried on with my day 🤷‍♀️🤣
