C-section healing

I would personally say that’s not normal, definitely go and get checked. My outer edges took the longest to heal but they were never open. I was practically back to normal in less than two weeks xx

One of my outer edges was open and I was up and down the hospital until they swabbed it and gave me the right antibiotics. X

@Hannah I might be being dramatic saying it’s open but it’s definitely not healed over it still looks the same as it has for weeks. I feel like I’m constantly getting it checked and they say the same thing every time🙃xx

@Sam Mines been swabbed 3 times now and I’ve had three different antibiotics but they clearly aren’t working by the seems of it xx

Mine was the same it wasn’t open, open but it wasn’t closed. I also still had a strict in it that wouldn’t dissolve and it made it go infected. X

What do you mean open? Mine is a bit of a red line. They kinda said once it's not weeping and it's not getting bigger it's fine

@Sam was that after a similar amount of time to me? (5w) and was it just the antibiotics that worked or did you do anything else? x

@Jessica I can message you a picture of it i didn’t want to put it on here so people were kinda forced to look but i can’t really describe it as anything else other than open x

I had infections after my c section and my scar didn't fully close until 14 weeks. Was mostly closed with just a couple of small open bits
