Yes. Second was so drastically different from my first. Emergency c section and use meds when I didn’t the first time. I get flashbacks and it ain’t fun. I’m just happy it all ended well. Definitely solidified me not wanting to have more kids ANY time soon if at all

Yes- with both of mine! Your hospital should do a birth afterthoughts (if in UK) where you can discuss your labour with a medical professional which may help you understand and come to terms with your labour and why certain things happened.

@Nicola yess I’m In Toronto Canada and they did this with me but I’m still haunted by it.

@Allana yeah I had horrible pregnancy then was in labor forever then had a postpartum Hemorrhage

Yes I had a birth reflection (UK) because I felt horrible when pregnant with my second, the anxiety of the first birth I had happening again scared me so much. I had preeclampsia so had to have the pitocin drip, then had a retained placenta and it caused a PPH. My second was a dream birth! All births are different so don’t let it stop you having anymore if it causes you anxiety, definitely talk to someone 🫶🏻

Yh, im only three month pp. I don’t feel like I have the time to deal with what I went through. So I just push it down. I cry when I get asked about how it goes but I don’t feel like I can talk about it or process what happened. One day I will do my debrief and talk to a therapist but my baby has so many needs that I don’t have that time to spare just yet.

Yes. 7 months later I feels calmer and less angry at the world because of it . I don’t think of it daily anymore but at least weekly. I couldn’t even talk about my labour without crying. Time is the best healer for this in my opinion I had therapy to get me through the initial period.

@Mikayla sorry you also had a terrible time just bear in mind you only have to so long before they no longer offer you the birth reflection. I had a lot of questions I needed to ask and while it didn’t completely solve everything I think without being able to this I would’ve been worse. I hope you get your answers❤️
