Normal?

Hi! I’m starting to panic a bit here so I’m hoping someone can share their experience with me. My son was allergic to milk and we had a terrible journey with him when he was little. I’m very concerned that the same thing will happen with my three week old baby girl. I don’t know if I’m over thinking it but these are the things I’m noticing currently: trapped wind in the evening with crying Reflux with no discomfort Discomfort pooping- pooping once a day Lots of farts which smell bad 😂 She’s formula fed. Are these sort of ‘normal’ behaviours or am I looking at the start of some allergies? ☹️☹️☹️☹️ Is anyone else’s formula fed baby similar to this?

Following as we are experiencing similar!

I have no idea if it's normal but we are in a very similar place with our 4 week old. Infacol has helped get the gas out but he definitely has an evening witching hour before bedtime!

We had exactly the same, midwife and health visitor said completely normal for formula-fed babies as their digestive system has to mature. My little boy is nearly 6 weeks old and I think it’s getting better, he gets his burps out easier, still some discomfort when straining aso, but it’s too early to think about allergies. If reflux with discomfort or hard poop, less than 3 poops per week is when you should seek help x

@Birgit thank you. My little boy was diagnosed at 5weeks old but his symptoms were very severe! I’ll keep a positive attitude thanks for your info xx

I am the same. My son has sooo many allergies and now with my baby girl I’m worried. I’m just continuing to monitor and if it I start to notice changes then I’m going to the doctors and getting the process started x
