Colostrum at hospital

How much colostrum do we need to take to the hospital when we are to go in? Have been collecting on and off for a few days and just want to make sure I have enough

I’d say around 6 syringes?! you may need more though whilst you’re there so keep getting those syringes if you can 🥰

I was told by my midwife, that the hospital I'm giving birth in only allows a maximum of 5 syringes due to fridge space 😂 quite odd, seeing as they are tiny wee things. But hey ho!

I think it's advised to not take too much as they wont have space to freeze it and you don't want to waste it and even then fridge space is limited for them. Also, it's more of an option. Some women don't attempt to harvest or manage any. It just may be more appropriate depending on your circumstance.

@Jessica i was told the same - 5 only! x
