Yes just remember to let them know if you’ve taken any paracetamol before you go to theatre so they don’t overdose you

Yeah will be fine, if you have a general anaesthetic (which you won’t be) unless in very rare circumstances then it’s better you don’t have any respiratory illness due to potential problems caused when being anaesthetised. X
