I’m 6 month PP and I’m recovering from a c section I’m now 8 weeks pregnant there will be 13month between the baby’s my first was an emergency c section do I have to “go natural” or can I have an elective c section as I’m so scared from the trauma of birth and want to cut out the middle man and go straight for a c section

@Tierney I don’t want a vbac I do want a c section but didn’t know with it been close together if they could do it again and yeah next week my appointment x
You will definitely be able to get an elective section. They probably won't advise you to have a VBAC at all anyway tbh.
Yeah that’s what I’m saying, they will basically insist on a c section on a less than 24 month gap anyway. So you will be fine.

They will most likely recommend a c-section anyway. I was told after mine that they prefer 2 year age gap between babies if you wish to have VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section). Discuss with your midwife, you must have your booking appointment soon?
