Premature Baby
Hi,
My LB was born 7 weeks early - he is now 17 weeks actual (10 weeks corrected). He only weighs 11lb6 and is still only taking maximum of 4oz in a feed. Anyone experience this or any advice? GP is so nervous to offer advice as he’s premature so I’m often left in the dark.
On another note, should he actually be 7 weeks behind developmentally as I feel he isn’t - he seems to be doing everything in line with his actual age rather than corrected age?

My little girl was born at 40+2 at 6lb11 Whilst she’s been putting weight on not to the amount they would like and has been dropping on the graph in her red book. I was worrying at first but now I’m really not, she’s meeting milestones, looks healthy and her hair and nails are growing. She also only feeds 2-4oz at a time and is now 15 weeks. Her cousin is 3 weeks younger and can drink 8oz. Every baby really is differant, don’t panic xx
@Rebekah my daughter is also drinking low amounts of 3.5-4oz at 14 weeks and can’t get her to have more. I have booked an appointment to check tongue tie

My baby is 16 weeks today and is only 12lb 1oz he was 6lb8 born at 38 weeks. They keep telling me he needs to put on more weight as he’s only on the second centile but he seems fine in himself and he’s gaining weight. I hope this eases you slightly xx
