Induction thought?

I’m thinking about getting induced at 39 wks and 1 day. I’ll be 38 weeks tomorrow and my body just feels like it’s giving up. I understand the best thing is to wait until he comes but I’m not dilated and not really showing any real signs of labor like losing my mucus plug, etc. I have school and can’t take off more than maternity leave but my body is so tired. I really need him out. Thoughts?

I’m gonna do a C-section at 39. This is my second and I’ve been battling if I should do a vbac.but she is measuring 8 pounds at 36 weeks and I feel the same. My hip hurts can’t walk it sucks im dying

@Pauline b aw i’m so sorry to hear that. why’d u choose c-section instead of induction? just curious

So I had an emergency c section with my last so they always offer a repeat c section cuz there’s a risk of scar tearing during second birth. It’s safer and scheduled so makes it easier. Then on top of that she measuring in 99% percentile so there would be complications trying to get her out at 9-10 pounds so the solution to that is a c section. The thing that suck is you can’t lift heavy things and my toddler is not taking to potty training so he still in diapers and honestly I don’t know if I can not lift him for those few weeks. Only down side. If I lift him I could undo the stitches

@Pauline b do you have anyone to help with ur toddler while ur recovering?

Not really plan is to change him on these little stairs I bought over toilet. Might be good for him to gain some independence.
