I did. Not by choice haha. My situation was a little weird. Water broke at 25 weeks and Northern Westchester didn't have the NICU we would need. I lived at WMC for 3 weeks on bed rest. Labor was fine. It was Columbus Indigenous People Day weekend so a little understaffed but nurses and doctors came when we buzzed them. The anesthesiologist was a bit of a dope. My labor was coming on fast and I waited too long to ask for epidural. When I realized baby was coming now he just kind of froze. I think my husband had to call for the doctor. I ended up without epi but also only 2 and half lb baby so not bad.

Oh and there was one really nice nurse who came in after. I had been on a gestational diabetes diet and told her I kept seeing these lemon icees on other people's trays that I couldn't have. She went to every freezer on the floor until she found me one.

Thanks so much for all the info, Jennifer. I am glad everything turned out great for you in the end. I am actually new to the Weschester County, so didn’t know much about the practices nearby. Currently, I am looking into other options, but it does give me peace of mind to know that WMC is alright too in case I can’t get into any other care.
