Induction

I’ve got an induction booked for tomorrow and they’ve said to call up at 6:30am for a time, from experience what time do they usually call you in if anyone knows? X

I just had to go in at 8am and wait until it was my turn. Unfortunately lots of emergencies came in so they didn’t break my waters until midnight but I think that was very unusual! Just rest while you can

@Marina do you just sit around waiting for a bed then? Because they said to bring all my stuff but it’s gonna be a lot of stuff 😂

Can you leave the stuff in the car until you have a room? X

@Sam my partner doesn’t drive so we’re getting a lift in x

Ah ok, sorry, no other pearls of wisdom then! Good luck xx

10 am at our hospital but depends on how many beds they have free

If you’re getting a lift in you can’t be sitting around in a waiting room, with all your things, beyond uncomfortable so ask for a specific time for a bed on whatever ward is available until it’s your time. Do not accept anything less x

No I was given a room from the get go so we just played cards and waited 😂 As I was 2 weeks overdue they kept regularly coming into to check movements etc and that there was no urgency. I think we got sent for a scan to check the placenta/cord while we waited too.

I called up and was told to call back mid morning and they had a bed ready for me as I was booked in as an inpatient so just came straight in just after 11🤗
