I had an emergency c section 4 weeks ago and they never gave me any suppository pain relief x

Yes, but they do after you’ve had the spinal so you don’t feel anything. They also do it when you’re already on the operating table and with the curtain up so you don’t even see it. They did ask my permission before they did it so you’ll be fine to mention your worries about it. But it won’t hurt you

Yes but I was given it in theatre after consenting. They told me what my options were and explained it all so they should give you a run through of it all too. It’s like 24 hours of pure pain relief and was well worth it for me. Didn’t affect my recovery or feeding baby after surgery in any way.

It’s diclofenac and it the best pain relief didn’t have pain for the first 24 hours it was amazing stuff!

Yes but they do it at the end when you are numb x

Yeah they did for me I didn't even know they done it after the procedure
