Discharging from c-section
Has anyone been discharged after only one night post c-section or know if I can asked to be discharged? I have had such a traumatising experience in hospital that I just want to go home to recover and my partner is not allowed to stay overnight.

Yes I only stayed one night after my c section with my first baby - my blood pressure was still slightly elevated so they wanted to keep me in another night but I pushed back saying I would be able to get more rest back home and recover better. As long as baby is ok and doesn’t need to stay in hospital I think you can discharge yourself as long as you don’t need any medical attention x
Sorry to hear you're having a bad experience. I was discharged after my first night with my first, my partner wasn't allowed to stay overnight either. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
