The baby will be okay. I couldn’t quit the vaping either my pregnancy. Even tried the 0 nic. My baby just came out with a cleft palate but that’s was just due to genetics because both her father and I are Asian (it’s a birth defective common with two Asian parents supposedly there’s a 75% chance a child with two Asian parents will get it) our baby girl was born 8lbs 0.2oz and 21inches long!

Your baby could possibly have developmental issues or low birth weight. It’s possible your baby could be more fussy as well because they’re going to be having nicotine withdrawals.

🤦🏾‍♀️ prioritize the baby for just 9 months. Why risk your child having long term issues rather than just stopping for 9 months.

I smoked the entire time, not proud but had a lot go on that made quitting impossible for me at that time. Not to mention I've been a smoker since 15 and I'm 27. But baby girl was born at 7 lbs 12 oz and 18.5 inches long!

Perfectly healthy and happy baby!💖

It’s too late for anyone to say baby will be okay, I really hope you have a happy healthy baby❤️ possibly will have nicotine withdrawls and fussy when born but it shouldn’t take long to get out their system.. if anything try quit now as smoke around a newborn baby is harmful. Contact your GP, try nicotine patches, speak to your health visitor. Good luck 🫶🏻🫶🏻

I haven’t quit either and I’m 4 weeks pp. baby is doing good. I had a lot going on as well. Definitely expect fussiness from the withdrawals

Got pregnant young and when I found out I immediately stop smoking. I could never put my baby ask risk for some flavor air.. I don’t care you can call me mean but that very selfish of you. Risking your baby’s health and life. My mother did that shit with my little sister and she is on the spectrum.

I agree with alona, the day I found out I was able to quit cold turkey, the cons definitely outweigh the pros in vaping during pregnancy. You are creating life while destroying your body.

No one asked for negativity. If you can’t help keep it pushing. She already knows what she’s doing, there’s no point in the continuous put down of someone who already feels bad about it. I’m glad you all were able to quit but it’s nicotine. An addictive drug. If you don’t have an answer to her question don’t answer.

That being said now. It’s hard to say. I did it here and there because my boyfriend had them around and it was so hard to resist. I vaped will breastfeeding because I couldn’t do it anymore and my mental health was better, I didn’t notice it affecting my daughter so i continued. My daughter is fine. I do have high hopes for you though seeing all the helpful people’s answers. I know quitting is hard it’s nicotine. If you need any help in life pm me. Hope your baby is healthy.

I smoked my whole pregnancy, my daughter was born healthy and weighed 7lb 7oz at birth. Fuck what anyone else has to say. Most of our mothers smoked 10 cigs a day when they were pregnant with us.

That will increase SIDS when the baby is born, I’d stop now

I smoked before pregnancy and vaped until 12 weeks. My midwife and all health care providers actually encouraged me to vape to make sure I didn’t smoke again and reassured me that vaping will not harm your baby so I wouldn’t worry! Everyone is entitled to their opinions but find it hard to read some of these comments they are so unnecessary. You never know someone’s situation and I’ve actually had two friends whose healthcare providers told them to continue having at least one cigarette a day as their stress levels were too high and this was more harmful to baby.

“No one asked for negativity “ it’s not negativity it’s the truth. Don’t come on the internet asking for advice if you want it to be sugarcoated. Point blank. I’m not bashing her nor being rude, I’m being honest.

And necole, as someone who did the exact same thing she’s doing of course you’d feel some type of way about the truth. My friends son was also on the spectrum because she couldn’t stop her addiction for her child I tell her the same exact thing. Nicotine is addictive but as a mother you should be able to stop yourself for your child.

@Jaedyn next time at me. And I said what I said. She asked a question. She didn’t ask if it was wrong. It’s already too late to stop so there’s no reason telling her to stop or anything. There’s no reason for backlash if she’s giving birth Thursday. You didn’t give advice that was helpful at all. All you did was criticize. There’s a possibility of your child being on the spectrum even if you don’t smoke or vape. It’s something you have no control over. Yes vaping is adding an extra chance but there’s always a chance that something can happen. But your beating a dead horse tell someone who already feels bad about it. You telling a crack addict who wants to stop but can’t hey that’s gonna kill you is beating a dead horse they know already. It’s redundant.

@Necole girl bye, u mad as hell in an app for mothers. Obviously that baby ain’t teaching you enough patience crashing out in a comment section. Sad. “@ me next time” are we in middle school? You’ll get the notification regardless puddin pop, what does the Bible say about being quick to anger? Study that today.😘

@Jaedyn since we want to get biblical. The Bible says do not judge and you will not be judge. Maybe you should start studying first.

@Necole proverbs 15:31-32 “ if you listen to constructive criticism you will be at home among the wise, if you reject discipline you only harm yourself, but if you listen to correction you grow in understanding.”

@Jaedyn it’s already too late for constructive criticism. She gives birth Thursday

@Necole and she decided to make that post asking other mothers about it when it’s already too late. Go watch your baby instead of getting ur blood pressure up cuz you keep getting proven wrong. Have a blessed day☺️

@Necole I’m telling the truth and only speaking the truth. She’s selfish asf!

I’m right there with you girl!

My friend made it nearly to the end of her pregnancy without knowing she was pregnant, she vaped the entire time. Baby is perfectly happy and healthy! Feel free to message me and I can tell you a bit more!

Some of these comments are unnecessarily fucking rude. What a joke some mums are. ‘Prioritise your baby for 9 months🤦🏻‍♀️’ I’m sure she is, vaping is a lot better than smoking is it not? That change in itself is massively difficult, hats off to you girl🫶 I’ve had to sacrifice a lot for my pregnancy coming off long term medication so I’m in horrific pain 90 percent of the time- if a cheeky vape gets me through that then so be it (it’s a distraction) midwives and consultants have all said to me that’s it’s perfectly fine to vape and the pros outweigh the cons- do not listen to the horrifically judgmental people on here!

I was a heavy vaper until I got pregnant with my son and as soon as I found out I quit for the whole of my pregnancy. Why would you choose a vape over your child’s health? If you really wanted to quit then you would have but now you’re on here worrying when you already knew the dangers and risks. 🤦🏽‍♀️

@Sian Hardy I’m sorry most of who’s mothers? The fact that you’re trying to justify this is crazy and if I was you I wouldn’t openly admit that I smoked my whole pregnancy how embarrassing

I didn’t vape, but I did take edibles up until I was 26 weeks and I know that’s a bit more extreme than vaping since it does go into your bloodstream. I gave birth two days before my baby due date and she actually turned out completely healthy and fine.
