Contractions
I was laying down and my contractions started being 6 ish minutes apart and painful so I got up and took a hot shower and did some things around my house. Doing this made them 2-3 minutes apart and still very painful. I called labor and delivery and they said that’s normal I can go in if I want to be seen but she kind of just brushed it off.. I’m so confused on what to do! I’m also 30 minutes from the hospital with 2 other kids sleeping and it’s 1 am 🫠🙃

@Tiffany oh my gosh we ended up going to the hospital and I was a 9, my water popped and within 15 minutes of arriving here baby was born with no pain meds because there was no time. Such a wild experience!!

@Tiffany @Jessica we are both doing great!! Trying to still process everything, but feeling good for the most part!

The 5-1-1 rule is a good one to follow, I would be concerned if they were 6 min apart and having to pack the kiddos up and drive for sure! I also live farther away so I am going to factor that in if I go into labor at home. Maybe also you could call and talk to someone different?
