C section tomorrow, nerves!

I have my c section tomorrow and I am sooooo nervous! I've tortured myself mentally all day worrying that it could be cancelled last minute but also hoping that baby is healthy. We lost our daughter a year ago to Edwards syndrome and spent a whole day in the ward holding her and she was gone. I think this has made me so much more anxious because I could not cope with another loss. Every scan has been fine and I have had so many through NHS! We couldn't have testing though as it was suppose to be a twin pregnancy. I just want shift this feeling. I don't think I'll sleep tonight at all. Just needed a rant 😭

I’m so sorry for what you have been through! If it helps I had a c section on Friday, it was genuinely a really nice experience. I would tell them you are anxious, as the wait for us was long. We went in at 7.30 and baby Arrived at 1.49pm. They put on a play list for us and talked me through every step. I would 100% put it down as a positive experience I hope it is the same for you! @Char Em i was so so scared but actually it was so relaxing and the staff were superb! I think the staff and how organised and reassuring they were, made the whole experience a positive one. So quick also. Before we knew it baby was I'm our arms xx Good luck!
