Mucus Plug

Hi everyone! At 40 + 6, I’ve finally had some movement forwards with a bloody show this morning at about 6am! I was laid there a while thinking my back and stomach ached a little (like light period pains) and low and behold it was there when I wiped each time for the full morning really - but has stopped now. I’ve been getting tightening on and off all day and also SOME aches/period pains at the same time but not every time. They aren’t regular though at all and can sometimes be 10 mins apart and sometimes an hour. I’ve got an induction booked for Saturday but truly hoping I don’t need it and I go into spontaneous labour between now and then. When you had a bloody show, how long was it until you went into labour? I’m reading that this could be hours or days online so would just like to hear real stories to be honest and any tips! FTM!
