Question for September mums who went past due date
Hi ladies, October first-time-mum-to-be here, was due yesterday 7th October. I’m at the super uncomfortable stage and feeling impatient to meet my little fella. At my regular apt today (40+1), midwife said I am still not very engaged (4/5ths palpable) which was disappointing to hear. With each day that he doesn’t arrive and him not having engaged at this stage, I can’t help but fear my chances of having a natural water birth are dwindling. I know first time babies are often late. Are there any September mammas out there who went a week or more overdue and still had a spontaneous delivery? Would be really encouraged to hear some positive experiences in this situation if anyone has any 🙏

I was due 7th Sept, had a sweep at 40+3 and induction booked in at 41 weeks but my little man arrived 40+6 so almost a week overdue! stay positive, your baby will arrive when they’re ready 🥰
40+5, came spontaneously :) (though waters had to be broken once admitted as I stopped dilating)
I was due September 13th but she came September 20th
Yes, I was due 18th and baby arrived exactly a week later. They were due to induce me due to waters breaking but then went into spontaneous labour while waiting at the hospital. Good luck!
