Planned c section dates

I had a consultant appointment at 35 weeks and was given the date a couple of days after that (for 40+2)

I’m 29 weeks and just scheduled ours for December 19th

I’m 37+5 and still waiting on my letter with the date

I found out at 28 weeks, I got a call from the scheduler a day after my appointment where my doctor submitted the order and they basically gave me the date and directions for pre op blood work and what to bring to hospital. My planned c section is at 37 weeks

Was anyone given option to choose their date? I wasn't bothered first time round but will need it to be certain days of the week this time round so can get my daughter watched x

I asked my midwife at 28week appt and she told me I have already been provisionally booked in x

I was 37 weeks when I got the date and booked in for 39+6 x

I would ask your dr or midwife when you are to be scheduled they will tell you

Around 30-31wks is when i scheduled mine

I’ve had a date since 24 weeks but I was pretty pushy about getting my dates set and it’s very close to Christmas, so that may be why

I was offered the date and three times and chose the early morning time as I didn’t want to risk waiting and getting bumped later in the day. I have a higher risk of uterine rupture so I can’t deliver vaginally
