Induction day!

Im finally getting induced after 41 weeks and 5 days. This baby was simply too comfy in there. I have had a wonderful healthy pregnancy. I simply cannot complain about it but these last 2 weeks have been so overwhelming seeing everyone have their September baby except me. But hey at least I’ll finally meet my girl. Can you ladies share some positive induction stories!

I was induced on Sunday. Honestly, it was kinda boring (I know you said positive, but I look at boring as positive when it comes to labor🤣) so started at about 730am at 1cm dilated but my cervix was high and hadn't thinned so I was given cytoctec pill vaginally. 2 doses, to be exact. They were given 4 hours apart(if i remember correctly)So in th waiting periods I would walk, curb walk, bounce on birthing ball, eat drink(water and mommy mocktails, my midwife made me) whatever to pass time with hubby..finally after a boring 12 hour day of waiting we started pictocin once that started i was in active labor and fully dilated and baby was born within an hour. I barley had to push maybe 10 mins and only had a 1st degree tear.(note this was my 3rd vaginal birth )

@Drew like you said that sounds pretty positive for me!😂 hoping to have a similar experience however this is my first so I’m really hoping for the best. You sound like a trooper tho if you found your labor boring 💗😊

@Steph thank you so much! So sweet of you💗😊

I've had a pessary this afternoon at 2pm having contractions more but still doesn't wanna show

You will be a trooper too through it ! Just keep positive thoughts when it feels tough. Best wishes !!
