Trapped wind/struggling to poo
Baby boy is 3 weeks old and such a happy little bean, but last two days he has really struggled to poo and has had trapped wind, crying even when he’s got his bottle and constantly stretching his legs out in pain. Any advice on what to do to help?

I had the same with my son at the exact same time around 3-4 weeks old. The only thing that has helped is burping him frequently, keeping him upright after feeds for 15-20 mins and introducing Infacol when needed. The GP mentioned it is common as they are working out their digestive system but it is horrible seeing them so uncomfortable. My son is 6 weeks now and it is no where as bad. Infant massage has helped a lot too!

We had a very similar thing with ours and regular winding/burping wasn't helping so our midwife recommended Infacol to help ease the gas bubbles in his stomach. It seems to have worked in terms of him passing wind at least!
