How long after your waters broke did u go into labour?

Hi so I’m 28+5 and my waters broke at 28+1. I was told 60% of people go into labour within 48 hours of their waters breaking so was kept in hospital and was monitored. Baby is still growing and I haven’t had any contractions. Ive become really anxious about everything but I know it’s kind of just a waiting game now Just hard to sometimes not think the worst🙁

I made it 3 weeks - water broke at 25, hospitalized until daughter came at 28. No contractions until 2-3 hours before she was suddenly here. The nurses weren't even sure I was in labor until shortly before birth. Or maybe I was in denial that it was happening. Any questions let me know. And prayers that baby stays put ❤️

My waters ruptured at 18+4 and I’m currently 36+3. You’re already past viability which is great because they’ll do everything they can for your baby. Take it each week at a time. Have you seen the prom regime? I didn’t follow it religiously but I did follow somethings and believe it possibly helped to keep my baby in for so long. The main thing is to avoid infection. I’m just a message away if you have any questions or need someone to talk too, it’s not an easy journey x

My waters went at 20 +3 and didn't deliver until 34 weeks ! Keep going mumma you have this!

My waters broke at 36+1 and I delivered at 36+4. Contractions started about 7/8 hours before delivery. Midwives didn’t believe I was in labour and when they eventually got a doctor to come and examine me I was 6cm dilated; baby was born an hour and a half later x
