Keloid scar

My scar is keloid, in currently putting 'kelo-cote' on it daily, I've had recommendations that over time this will help 🤞 I'm also massaging it....I haven't seen a difference yet but keeping the faith 🙈

Not that my section has turned into a keloid but I did have a few piercings that developed keloids so hoping my scar doesn’t! However the only thing that I saw make a difference over a long period was tea tree oil - but with that it never got rid of it, in the end I had to go for steroid injections in the scar which made it flatten xx

My first did, it was beautiful and flat at first but all my scars eventually turn into keloids and it was no exception. I saw a scar specialist - did all the things I was told with silicone tape, special lotion, massage etc. but it didn’t help They cut it out for the second one but I can already see it starting 2 months PP. Genetics is a huge factor and it can be really difficult to keep it at bay if that’s just what your body does
