I had my section at 9.20pm on the Friday so stayed two nights, should have been discharged first thing on the Sunday morning but they messed up my injections and medication so had to wait until 7pm 🙄
I had my section at 10pm at night and was discharged the next day at around 4pm xx
I had a c section on Monday at 11.15 and discharged on Wednesday around midday. We may have been able to go home sooner but we were allowed to leave before being fully discharged to visit my mum in hospice so I think that delayed everything slightly
24 hours for me!
I was home within 24 hours x
With my first I had him midday and was home teatime the next day. With my second I had her 3 in the morning and was home teatime the same day!!! It was during covid though so that might be why. With my third last week it was 24 hours later ♥️
I had an emergency section we were both ok afterwards but stayed in from Monday evening to Wednesday evening. They did ask if we wanted to go home Tuesday evening but I had really bad trapped wind in my chest so I stayed. The other ladies in my bay had elective sections. 2 went down on Tuesday morning and went home about 7pm Tuesday night. The other 2 went down Tuesday afternoon and went home Wednesday afternoon
I had mine Friday afternoon and got let out Sunday afternoon, it would’ve been Saturday but apparently they had no one to do discharge so ended up being Sunday x
Two nights for me but that was only because I had low blood pressure the day after my section. So in Thursday, home Saturday.
I have csection Monday at 8.30 am, Tuesday midday I was going home :)
My first c section stay was 4 1/2 days. I was about 9cm dilated but baby wouldn’t come, so I had an emergency c section. I had to receive a blood transfusion as well, so my hospital stay was long. My second c section I only stayed 2 days
Mine was 5 days but that was because I had a high blood (this was reason for c section )
I stayed just over a day
I was home within 24 hours. We felt very well looked after and I was up and moving around about 6 hours after. Xx

Within 24 hours with both sections, both elective sections
First baby I was in 15 days with baby second baby I was out in 21 hours!! They didn’t have any room and I spent my time in a corridor the entire time
