I had one five months after birth. I called the maternity ward and they arranged it for me. I found it helpful as I was able to discuss which things could happen differently per my request next time.
I had my birth debrief three weeks after my little boy was born, I had a traumatic birth and I was in hospital for 7 days, I was able to ask specific questions and get the answers I needed. My midwife that visited the day after I was discharged home arranged it for me with the consultant I was under. Hopefully you can get your debrief x

I had a birth debrief at arrowe park. This was meant to happen within the first 12 months and after chasing and chasing I finally got one just before my little girl turned 1. I had quite a traumatic birth and feel mixed about the appointment because I didn’t leave feeling any better or any less traumatised by what happened but I did leave with her explaining the steps that led to where we got to. What I have found helpful is that the same woman who did my trauma debrief is the woman I’m now working closely with for my Vbac in December so it was nice to have already met her and she knew what had happened etc.
