Contractions

I’m at 33w and still don’t know how contractions feels like. Worry that I won’t know if I’m in labor or just the usual pain (lower back, cramping) that I usually have.

Trust me you'll know it'll take your breath away your stomach will be extremely hard for a long period of time and they'll be close together i was in premature labor at 33w5d and 33w6d I'm now in prolonged labor im 35wks now

If you have pain in your vaginal area with lower back pain and tightening of the stomach, that is a contraction. That’s the only way I could tell the difference from a Braxton hick with my first born 😅

You’ll know! Trust me. I never had contractions with my first until I was actually in labor (after losing my mucus plug), and it really was so distinctive. This time around, I’ve been having contractions since 25 weeks lol

Hate to say it again, but you’ll know. You don’t need to go to the hospital as soon as contractions start anyways so it doesn’t matter (unless your water breaks or something that your dr would want to see you for of course). By the time you’d need to go in, you won’t be doubting if they’re normal or childbirth
