What did you waters look like?

About an hour ago I suddenly had a gush of what I can only describe as a faint yellow liquid, only about a teaspoon amount. it’s not like my usual discharge, and doesn’t smell of anything. There’s been slight more trickling since then so definitely seems like it could be my waters, but I’m also not convinced 😂 going to give it an hour or two and head to hospital to have it tested to be safe, but just curious as to what your ladies waters looked like?

Mine was clear, looked like water. But it may have a hint of brown, green, yellow, pink. If you see brown, green or pink, or it smells of anything, go to triage x

slight yellow trickles out

Mine was clear but looked really light yellow on a pad. It had flecks of white stuff in it. Put a pad on, lay down for 30 mins and if there’s a gush when you stand it’s your water, you can also show midwife the pad so they can assess it.

@Abi so do they think your waters will be fine until then?

@Ellen yh i have scan tomorrow to check but ive been fine, hoping for my body to start progressing this week so dont have to get induced x
