c-section scar/ healing

if it’s what i’m thinking, yes the lump is scar tissue forming (i think). and the numbness, depending on the person it’ll always be numb. i had my c section 18 months ago and i still can’t feel when i pinch or touch it.

@Zuzia i don’t feel the hardness in my scar anymore, but mine it still numb lol. i’m not sure if mine will ever have feeling again but everyone is different. it’s probably just a question to ask your ob the next time you see them. they’ll have better answers than me🥹

I have numbness and a lump on one side too. The midwife said it’s very very common x

Almost 6 months PP and still have some numbness. I had some irritation at the beginning as my scar is on a hair line- there would be some oozing (like ingrown hair) and there was a bump on the left end. After a little bit, a lot of white cyst like stuff came out of the bump and it healed flat

Yes it’s scar tissue, you can massage it after you’ve healed to help loosen the tissue. You can go to a massage therapist or do it yourself once you’ve healed 🧡

I’m also 5 weeks pp doesn’t feel anything from lower abdomen total numbness and tenderness I don’t know how many months it will. Irritate me like this 🤦‍♀️

The bump at one end is scar tissue yes but usually where they tied your stitches, hence is being to one end! As for the numbness, I was still numb after having my first baby nearly 3 years before having my second baby back in June 24, now 4 months pp and still as numb as I was before, I don't think the feeling will ever return for me x

I have the same thing it’s scar tissue you would need to keep massaging it , and cupping it

Yes I am 3 years PP and mine is still numb in places the nerve endings get damaged and some never repair
