@Shan. i’ve been waiting for the midwife all day and i haven’t heard from them at all
You can probably give them a call, I also stayed in hospital few days after c-section, my midwife came to my house the day after to make sure all was well with me and baby. She checked the scar area and took the bandage off.
Don’t worry or think about it to much 💗 you get it off on day 5 usually so maybe tomorrow ? I was the opposite and didn’t want it off I felt like it was holding everything together lol. It will do no harm x
If you have the stuff at home (saline water/a new bandage) I’d do it myself very carefully
When they did the day 5 heel prick I had mine taken off there
I was told to have a shower the next day and take it off and not put another one on x
They removed mine in the hospital before I came home and was told I could remove the butterfly stitches a week later.
I believe a midwife is suppose to come to your home the day after being discharged from hospital, she took mine off for me.
