My baby belly button looked like this after hers fell off and at her two weeks check up the doctor took an alcohol swab and just wiped it off , she said I could’ve started giving her baths cause the water would’ve gotten it off

No I think u should wait since it looks like it’s bleeding a little

my midwife said whent the cord falls off wait 24h for it to further dry out and then you can bathe

@Klaudia the chord fell off Wednesday night and had been drying out but I think his nappy or his vest has rubbed and now it seems a bit weepy x

Personally I would wait until it’s fully healed over to prevent possible infections. When my baby’s cord fell off it bled for just under a week and it’s now healed over

My baby was the same as this and it was bleeding a little I noticed on her vest. We just left it and it did fall off after a few days but didn’t bath her till after it fell off xx

My baby’s belly button is the same at the moment. We did bath him a couple of nights ago and it seems fine so far x

I gave mine a bath maybe the next day after it fell off and she still had the stump. A few days later I gave her another bath and it came off after I took her out. Well, I had to wipe it off with qtip.
