You can bring partner. I took my blood and 12w testing results so they could record it into the file. At mine they did carbon monoxide test, blood pressure and a urine sample, as that was my first appointment with the community midwife she gave me her number and booked the next appointment as well, they have a very general chat with you about the services offered and you can ask any questions you want as well. They might not offer it because it can be hard to locate at such early gestation but you can ask if you can listen to heartbeat (they’ll warn you that it can cause worry if they can’t find it and it can take a good 10 mins or not at all but it’s normal because baby is so small it keeps darting all over the place)
