Having baby all to themselves

Does anyone else feel like they don’t want to share their baby. Like I’m even struggling to watch my partner with him It’s to the point where I won’t give him his dummy when visiting my mother in law (I don’t like her much anyway) so that baby will cry and she will give him back

I absolutely feel this with my MIL and she's the one we see most regularly. Not feeling it with my partner but totally get the mama bear thing!

@Jo she really annoys me. Like I had an emergency c-section and not even a week later she came over and had me get up to pass baby to her then when he cries, get up to soothe him and then give him back to her when he’s stopped crying just to repeat the process again over and over. I think that’s why now I just have no patience for her

I am the exact same I find it hard to let other people cuddle my little girl. I think it’s because it’s taken me 13 years to conceive her and now she’s finally in my arms I just don’t want to share her with anyone else. My partner is a gem and amazing with our little girl but I do try and take over which is bad on my part xx

It’s defo a mumma baby bond, I’m the same with certain people when the baby cries I can’t take it and my boobs start throbbing calling out for the baby when hearing a cry it’s mad! But magical

I am the same. I’m struggling with letting my partner have her. He’s really active and loves her dearly, but when she’s with him I feel I can’t relax and watching her anyway! Don’t get me started on everyone else like the in laws! Xx

@Alisha so glad I’m not the only one!!
