Going out again

When did everyone start letting there babies sleep over at grandmas etc? People keep asking me if I would like them to but I’m just not comfortable and don’t think I ever will be (it feels like that atm) but I do also want a good nights sleep and to get myself feeling like myself again and see my friends etc

With our first we let the Nannie’s look after him for couple of hours at about 4 months, sleepover wasn’t until a year

With my first she had her first sleepover around 6 months and it was great to have some time to ourselves as a couple! I’m a great believer in doing it when you feel ready and some are ready quicker than others. However, bearing that in mind, for me, my opinion is that I wouldn’t want my children to feel anxious or scared going to stay at grandparents so I wanted to do it as soon as I felt ready. My youngest is now nearly three and we don’t have any issues with her going to stay at granny’s house which is great!

My daughter is 16 months and has never spent a night at her grandparents, mine or her dads side, we just aren't happy to do that yet haha

With my first he was almost year old. And now thinking about it with my daughter I will probably stick o the same. My partners mum is going to have her for the evening but at my house which seems less scary to me. That’s when she’s three months old xx
