I have gestational diabetes and i would KILL to have your fasting blood sugars. NONE of your sugars look bad. Them saying your fasting sugars are bad seems really concerning to me. Because they aren't. I go to term AND do homebirths with fasting sugars that are not like yours. Your fasting sugars are GREAT. What part are they concerned on?

@Bree They are trying to get me to take metformin (which has rat poisoning in it) they also had me on insulin I tried it once and my sugars went to almost 200 and I was puking and definitely not good. I don't know why they say my sugars are bad. Even yesterday I had a few pepperoni sticks and an hour later my sugars were 105 they said even that was too high
@Joy yeah, that's really strange. And the metformin, that's alone makes me worried. Those sugars do NOT call for insulin. Pepperoni won't raise your blood sugar much. That's a safe food for me to keep my blood sugars balances. 105 is seriously nothing after an hour. My goal WITH gestational diabetes is 140 and under an hour after eating. Something is weird with your Dr's.
@Joy as for fasting. My goal is to be under 100. Mine usually aren't. So, yours is not a bad case whatsoever.
@Bree I agree I also have to have a regrowth scan Friday bc she said baby is a little bit big but this time I'm watching what I eat. Plus I only eat snacks and dinner since I had weight loss surgery in 2022. My stomach is literally the size of a banana. My last pregnancy I wasn't paying that much attention and baby ended being 10 pounds 8.1 oz
Yeah, that would be a better indicator to what to do. With you watching your earing this time though. I can't imagine your baby being to big. I'm pregnant with my 6th (3rd time having gestational diabetes) i usually have 8 pound something babies. Except for my 3rd, he was 9ibs 6ozs. I didn't pay attention with my eating during that pregnancy either. 10 pounds 8.1 ozs is definitely a big baby. So the scan definitely is a good idea. The blood sugar part, along with how you're saying you're eating so doesn't make sense, though. Hoping all goes well with the regrowth scan. And hopefully, your Dr's stop acting weird (doubt it, but here's to hoping lol)
Yeah this seems realllllly strange.... your fasting numbers & iron seem fine.
@Joy this is not mild anemia. This is normal iron. Anything under 35 is considered mild or low. What is he looking at? 🤨

I would get a second drs opinion because there is absolutely nothing wrong with your glucose or iron and there's no reason to do a c section based off of these results especially at 37 weeks unless baby is in distress
You also have the right to decline the c section, which if I were you I personally would again unless baby was in distress otherwise I would say no and either wait till labor started or 39 weeks for an induction
@Hanna Also I would have to travel farther to be induced if it's a c section it's closer to where I live
Also I don't drive and Uber and taxi will be a lot of money
@Bree well my midwife lied to me the results from the regrowth scan came back
@Joy your Dr's are ridiculous 🙄 especially when you can LITERALLY see it on a screen and they deny it. How did the growth scan go?
What numbers are your anemia levels at ? Asking because they want to do that to you and I’ve been severely anemic but never mentioned none of that to me.
