Maternity Hospital recommendations

Hi everyone! I'm moving to Rugby in a couple of weeks and need to transfer to a different maternity hospital. I was wondering if anyone could recommend one based on their experience? I’ve been considering the Maternity Department at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire as an option. Has anyone given birth there? If so, how was your experience? Thank you! ☺️

I gave birth in Coventry last July and personally, I can’t fault them, they were really great with us x

I gave birth in Coventry last October. They were amazing. I had to stay in hospital for 5 days and all staff was so nice and lovely

I had both my elective c sections at UHCW in July 2022 and September 2024. I also received care for my miscarriages and treatment and honestly cannot fault them enough. They were wonderful, and amazing this time with my toddler visiting to! Would definitely recommend xx

Thank you everyone for your recommendations xx

I think partners can now stay with you at UHCW as well which makes it so much better! X

Coventry was just amazing. All the midwives were great! No issues at all. I stayed in prenatal ward for some days, Labour ward, theatre and postnatal. All fantastic

I gave birth to both of my girls at Nuneaton hospital as I have heard so many bad things about Cov hospital and I won’t recommend it to my worse enemies

I gave birth at Warwick hospital and worse experience. There was moment I thought I wouldn’t survive

I gave birth 3 weeks ago at uhcw. They were absolutely amazing every midwife and doctor. I ended up being category 1 emergency C-section and how they handled the situation, me, my partner and my baby girl was nothing short of fantastic. Partners can also stay the entire time now. I'm originally from Liverpool and was so scared being somewhere I didn't know without my mum to give birth and I genuinely was put so much at ease. I can't recommend them enough personally xx
